The Alden Raney Collection consists of slides and photographs documenting railroad activity in the Pacific Northwest between 1959 and 1989. Railroads covered in the collection are Great Northern Railway, Northern Pacific Railroad, Milwaukee Road, Spokane, Portland & Seattle Railway, Union Pacific Railroad, Southern Pacific Railroad, logging railroads and others.
The Alfred E. Michon Collection includes documents produced by the Great Northern Railway Company (U.S.), Burlington Northern Railroad Company, Spokane, Portland, and Seattle Railway and Northern Pacific Railroad Company and other railroads between 1966 and 1996. Also included in the collection are a wide variety of railroad ephemera from a variety of railroads and 25 photographs on the shipping of coal from the Powder River Basin in Wyoming.
The Ann Meyer Collection includes ephemera from the Milwaukee Road, Northern Pacific, and Great Northern, a Milwaukee Road timetable, 2 Great Northern, 1 Southern Pacific and 1 Canadian National photograph, and "The Story of the Wellington Avalanche".
