The Cordell Newby Collection consists of 1902 color photographs of Great Northern Railway Company subjects, principally equipment and locations, taken by Mr. Newby in multiple locations between Chicago, Illinois and Seattle, Washington between 1971 and 1988. The Colman Kennedy Collection is comprised of two framed (poster frames) railroad drawings of the Kelley Lake, Minnesota area. One of the east end and one of the west end of town. One gold framed picture of a Great Northern Railway 2500 class steam engine floating over the William Crooks locomotive and train; this may have been a promotional print. Small picture of James J. Hill in lower right corner of print.

The Chuck Hatler Collection includes CD's with copies of Hedrich Blessing Great Northern Railway photos and an index of the Great Northern Railway magazine, "Talking It Over", all from the Chicago History Museum.
