The Colman Kennedy Collection is comprised of two framed (poster frames) railroad drawings of the Kelley Lake, Minnesota area. One of the east end and one of the west end of town. One gold framed picture of a Great Northern Railway 2500 class steam engine floating over the William Crooks locomotive and train; this may have been a promotional print. Small picture of James J. Hill in lower right corner of print.
The Clive Carter Collection consists primarily of railroad enthusiast and railroad modeler publications with addition material on the Spokane International Railway, Burlington Northern Railroad Company, Great Northern Railway Company (U.S.), Spokane, Portland, and Seattle Railway and other railroads. Materials are dated between 1980 and 2010.
The Claude Earle Shinn Collection includes a box of Claude Shinn's personal materials: 3 diaries from 1938, 1942, and 1943, an insurance certificate, a photograph of Union Pacific Railroad steam engine Number 3975 and Union Pacific Railroad diesel locomotive Number 908, 4 photographs of Claude Shinn, his retirement notice and two articles about him.
