The John Willer Collection consists of 8 mechanical drawings of Portland, Oregon area buildings of the Spokane, Portland and Seattle Railway showing and 1 mechanical drawing of Portland area buildings of the Oregon Electric Railway.

The Jim Harkless Collection consists of 1 book of Spokane, Portland and Seattle, Union Railways, Oregon Trunk and Oregon Electric structures.

Scans of railroad clearance diagrams for the Great Northern Railway Dakota Division, Mesabi Division, Minot Division and Willmar Division. The diagrams show the space available to run railroad cars and loads along the track between stations on the line. Many dates are illegible, but those that are readable fall between 1957 and 1969.

The Elmer Smoak Collection consists mainly of operating manuals for railroad locomtoives and their components. Additional materials on railroad operations, principally by the Northern Pacific Railroad Company, are included.

The Delbert Jacobson Collection holds primarily engineering drawings. Subjects include Seattle's King Street Station and other Pacific Northwest facilities of both the Northern Pacific Railroad Company and the Great Northern Railway Company (U.S.). Materials cover much of the twentieth century.

The Daniel Noble Collection includes 1 safety plaque, 1 large plug and 2 log books from the Northern Pacific Railroad South Tacoma shops.
