Notes by photographer Hal Will: '"Pride in their job, proud of their engine" - This engineer and fireman requested this 1948 photo with their huge articulated locomotive. The locomotive was eventually restored to running condition. It is of class P-2 with wheel arrangement 4-8-2 and 73" diameter drivers to pull fast passenger and the record-holding Great Northern Silk Trains of the mid-twenties.
